Buy the largest cauliflower you can then it’s easier to slice, remove all the outer leaves & with the stalk at the base, cut into three or four large steaks (you will have some crumbly bits left over).


Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees & line a roasting dish with some parchment paper as shown then put the cauliflower steaks carefully inside.


Using just one tablespoon of marinade for bothe sides, divide between each steak brushing on top of each one then garnish ... place in the oven to cook.


After 15 minutes take out from the oven & using a fish slice, carefully turn the steaks over & brush each one with the remaining marinade & put back into the oven for a further 15 minutes.


Drizzle with a little cream or vegan alterative (optional) & serve immediately.


A perfect starter or accompaniment to your main meal ... this is one of my faves!


Please note if serving this dish as an accompaniment, please cook this last as most delicious when piping hot.
